GMV appoints new dealer in Canada
Bredsten, 06/08-2026
GMV is strengthening its international dealer network with the appointment of Pick and Place Ltd., operating as Pick & Place Lifting Equipment, as its new dealer in Canada. The company will sell and rent GMV’s Winlet glazing robots, ErgoMover electric transport trolleys and Lasius compact pick & carry cranes in the Canadian market.

GMV has appointed Pick & Place Lifting Equipment as its new dealer in Canada. The partnership gives Canadian customers local access to GMV’s compact and practical lifting and material-handling solutions for glass, windows and other heavy materials on construction sites and in industrial environments.
Pick & Place Lifting Equipment is based in Vancouver and provides professional glass lifting equipment for projects where safety, access and precision are decisive factors. As part of Sentinel Glass Ltd., the company brings practical jobsite experience from the Canadian glazing and window installation industry.
The company has already received its first Winlet 600 and has ordered an additional Winlet 600 as well as the tracked Winlet 1000 Crawler. These machines will be the first in the company’s GMV rental fleet in Canada. The partnership is also already off to a strong start, as Pick & Place Lifting Equipment has closed its first equipment sale.
“Canada is an important market with a strong glazing and construction industry, and we see a clear fit between the needs of local contractors and the solutions we manufacture in Denmark,” says Henrik B. Skibsted, Export Manager at GMV.
With the new dealer, GMV strengthens its presence in North America and makes it easier for Canadian glazing and construction companies to access Winlet glazing robots, ErgoMover electric transport trolleys and Lasius compact pick & carry cranes.
